How long should we run our Casino Party?
Four hours is just about right. 3 hours is borderline too short, and 5 or 6 hours can be an option. All our quotes are for 4 hours - please let us know if you'd like anything different.

Do we need to provide our own dealers?
That's your choice. Most people take advantage of our trained professionals because it makes your planning easier. All of our dealers are professionally trained, either at a professional dealing academy, or through our extensive training courses that we offer. Angela's Casino dealers are very friendly - high energy, guaranteed to provide excellent service and an all around professional atmosphere! For some fund-raising options, if you have your own volunteers who know the games, that's okay, too.

Are Casino parties legal?
Absolutely. We use "Angela's Casino Funny Money"... (picture a cross between a dollar bill and monopoly money). Our Funny Money is in the value of $500 and you as the host are given a supply of these before your party begins to hand out to your guests as they arrive. Your guest will then take them to their table game of choice and give them to the dealer to obtain their chips.

As far as how Custom Funny Money goes, this is an addition you can add to your party. Custom Money really helps in tying your event together - and is always a BIG HIT! (the funnier the picture, the better.) Highly suggested for those significant birthdays, such as the 30's, 40's 50's and 60's - go back, find us those yearbook photos, the flock-of-seagulls pictures, we're sure you have 'em! Custom money is also great for CORPORATE EVENTS! Supply us an image of your company logo, and/or a great picture of the CEO. Ultimately, Custom Funny Money is just another way to spice up your event to be one-of-a-kind - and at the end of your evening, you have a keep-sake to remember this special event! What are the most popular games?
Your guests will generally move from game to game during the course of the party. Most guests end up trying everything. Black Jack is the number one game of choice. The reason for this is that it's by far the most simple and less intimating than the rest. Craps and roulette are games that always draw crowds. A lot of guests tell us that these are games that they've always wanted to learn, but we're too afraid to walk up to a live game in a casino. That's where we can help! Angela's Casino tries to remove the 'scare factor' out of these games for you and your guests, and our dealers can walk you step by step, teaching you of the rules of the games and the proper ways to play. They are both great spectator games, but based on our experience, the best way to learn these games is to play... and what's a better way to learn then with play money? Poker has become more popular with the advent of celebrity poker tournaments on TV. Adding a poker table to any party is always a treat - the games usually consume some of your guests as they go after that bad beat. Poker Tournaments are also EXTREEMLY popular - ask us about our Tournaments, and how we can customize one for your next party!

Are casino parties a good fundraiser?
They're incredible. You can structure them several ways. The most popular usually works like this: Your guests buy an admission ticket and receive a set amount of play money that they use to purchase gaming chips. They play with those chips, and have the option to purchase more as the night continues. The lower amount given with the original entrance will guarantee a large profit by the re-buys. There are some state regulations that we must follow, and we are willing to assist you through the entire process.

What should I use for prizes?
Your guests can win only prizes - never cash. You will need to provide one or (preferably) several prizes for your guests to win. (Our suggestion? 1-2 prizes per 10 guests) The type and value of the prizes is totally up to you and can run the gamut from "gag" gifts costing a couple of dollars up to fabulous vacations and merchandise. As a rule, keep the scale of your prizes in line with the type of event you are hosting. Guests don't expect to receive elaborate or costly prizes at a birthday party, so you may not need to spend a lot there. However, a high-society black-tie fund-raiser hoping to raise a large amount for charity may call for prizes on a much grander scale.

We're doing this just for fun - do I have to have prizes?
Yes. They don't have to be anything fancy...they can even be "gag" gifts if you like, but you should have something as a prize. Experience has shown that playing casino games without the ability to win "something" gets extremely boring very quickly.
